Bascom Palmer Researchers Make Breakthrough in Fight Against Glaucoma

A six-year collaboration between two faculty members at the Miller School of Medicine’s Bascom Palmer Eye Institute has yielded new insight into the regulation of intraocular pressure in glaucoma—an irreversible disease that causes progressive visual impairment due to optic nerve damage and is the leading cause of blindness worldwide. The User Support Services group offers free computer software training for University of Miami employees. Courses include Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. Stress Management Open Forum

Enhance your ability to manage stress at this lunchtime seminar, offered by the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP). Reviewing common stressors and how they can be managed, the forum will draw upon the collective knowledge of participants as well as the facilitator’s expertise to troubleshoot and generate practical solutions.
