Department of Philosophy lecture: The Experiential Origins of Intentionality

The University of Miami’s Department of Philosophy will host Uriah Kriegel, assistant professor of philosophy at the University of Arizona, on Thursday, December 2 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the University Center, Room 245. Kriegel’s primary focus is the philosophy of mind, but he also works in metaphysics, metaethics, and cognitive science. He is the author of The Sources of Intentionality (Oxford University Press, forthcoming) and Subjective Consciousness: A Self-Representational Theory (Oxford University Press, 2009) and editor of Phenomenal Intentionality: New Essays (Oxford University Press, forthcoming) and Self-Representational Approaches to Consciousness (Oxford University Press, 2009).
