Surgical Grand Rounds Barbara Williams Lecture: Improving Outcomes with Early Stage Lung Cancer

Thomas A. D’Amico, professor of surgery, chief of the Section of General Thoracic Surgery, and program director of thoracic surgery at Duke University Medical Center, will present “Improving Outcomes with Early Stage Lung Cancer” on Thursday, December 2 from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the Rosenstiel Medical Science Building, fourth-floor auditorium. Upon completion of this lecture, participants will be able to discuss the basis of poor outcomes for patients with early stage cancer and review the advances in molecular biology that would improve staging and outcomes. The University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit.
