This seminar, sponsored by the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP), provides an overview of the real estate tax calculation process. Gerardo “Jerry” Gomez, special projects administrator for the Miami-Dade County Finance Department, will help participants decipher their tax notices and review available options for managing current and future year payments. He will also address options available for those unable to pay their taxes, the delinquent tax process, and Internet tax certificate sales in Miami-Dade and throughout Florida.
