A well-crafted development plan can provide focus to your learning and facilitate self-directed learning that is more tailored to your individual needs, while enabling you to personalize your educational experience. To register for the session, visit ULearn and follow the instructions to log on. For more information, call 305-243-3090 or 305-284-5110.

This seminar, offered by the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) in partnership with the Southeast Florida Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, will provide information and resources to help those who are faced with the challenge of caring for an individual with the condition. No two people experience Alzheimer’s disease in the same way. As a result, there is not one standard approach for care giving. Responsibilities can range from making financial decisions or managing changes in behavior to helping a loved one get dressed in the morning. Join presenter Reni Rizzo, community education coordinator for the Southeast Florida Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, to ensure that your loved one feels supported and lives a full life while taking steps to preserve your own well-being.

Coral Gables campus: Wednesday, June 2 from 12 to 1 p.m., McArthur Engineering Annex, Room 202.

Miller School of Medicine campus: Thursday, June 3 from 12 to 1 p.m., Dominion Parking Garage, Room 155.
