Richard Bookman, vice provost for research, will discuss hurricane preparedness for the research community during town hall meetings on each campus.
Miller School of Medicine campus: Thursday, June 10 at 2 p.m. in the Lois Pope LIFE Center, seventh-floor auditorium.
Coral Gables campus: Friday, June 11 at 10 a.m. in the Cox Science Center, Room 213.
Rosenstiel School campus: Friday, June 11 at 2 p.m. in the Dean’s Conference Room.
These sessions will be geared not only to those who are new to the area but to any researcher with questions about preparing for a storm. Other presenters will include the Office of Research Emergency Preparedness Team, Risk Management, and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) consultants.
