Stress Management and Relaxation Training

Stressors affect us in many facets of our lives. This seminar, offered by the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP), provides participants with an understanding of stress and the ways it can be managed to help optimize health. The course will help you develop a proactive response by increasing your awareness of factors that influence stress levels, troubleshooting the difficulties encountered when confronting stressors, and reviewing and practicing effective stress management (relaxation) techniques.

Coral Gables campus: Tuesday, August 10 from 12 to 1 pm in the McArthur Engineering Annex, Room 202.

Miller School campus: Wednesday, August 11 from 12 to 1 p.m. in the Medical Wellness Center classroom, ninth floor.

Rosenstiel School campus: Thursday, August 12 from 12 to 1 p.m. in the Library, Map and Chart room.

Customer Service for the Professional

This course is designed for those providing and promoting superior customer services. It will provide you with an opportunity to align your customer service skills and techniques with best practices, as well as examine how to improve these skills within your current role. Note: This is a Series III core course for Emerging Leaders.

Coral Gables campus: Friday, August 13 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Max Orovitz training room.
