Surendra P. Shah, the Walter P. Murphy Professor of Civil Engineering at Northwestern University and a member of the National Academy of Engineering, will present “Nanoscale Modifications of Cementitious Materials” on Monday, February 7, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the McArthur Engineering Annex, Room 202. Shah’s presentation will include an overview of recent research in the field of nanoscale modification of cementitious materials with the use of different mineral admixtures and nanofibers.
