The Education Services Department at the Diabetes Research Institute (DRI) will host its monthly diabetes Q&A session, Diabetes and You, on Wednesday, July 6 from 12 to 1 p.m. at the DRI, Room 1000. This lunchtime seminar, presented by the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP), will help participants explore the role of self-acceptance and healthy thinking in enhancing well-being. The seminar also will provide participants with practical strategies to improve self-esteem and become their own best friend. An FSAP consultant will facilitate the seminar. FSAP Health and Wellness seminars are offered as part of the University of Miami’s Well ’Canes Program.
