Univision’s Premios Juventud Returns to BankUnited Center this Thursday

Premios Juventud, Univision’s No. 1 awards show, returns to the BankUnited Center this Thursday, July 21 at 8 p.m. Honoring recording artists, movie stars, sports figures, and fashion and pop icons popular with this country’s Hispanic youth, the show will air live on Univision Television Network. The scheduled performance lineup includes: Ricky Martin, Pitbull, Ne-Yo, Daddy Yankee, Prince Royce, Wisin Y Yandel, Luis Fonsi, Joey Montana, Larry Hernández, Gerardo Ortíz Il Volo, and more. Presenters include William Levy (“Triunfo del Amor”), Aaron Díaz (“Teresa”), Blanca Soto (“Eva Luna”), Danna Paola (“Atrévete a Soñar”), Paulina Goto (“Niña de Mi Corazón”), Nastassja Bolívar (“Nuestra Belleza Latina” 2011 Winner), Univision anchor and Emmy Award-winning journalist Jorge Ramos, Singer-songwriter and former Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon, and Spanish singer Beatriz Luengo. Antonio Banderas to Receive “Super Nova Award.” All performances and presenters are subject to change.

Expect traffic delays on Ponce de Leon Boulevard, U.S. 1, and streets adjacent to the BankUnited Center as early as 2 p.m.

Two webinars will be hosted this week to help faculty and staff learn more about managing their 403(b) plan investments. Learn more about managing your 403(b) account online by taking part in the “Managing Your 403(b) Account through Fidelity NetBenefits” webinar, which will be held Friday, July 22 at 10 a.m. Learn how to manage your investments online, see what actions can be managed through Fidelity’s site, TIAA-CREF’s site or through myUM, and walk through a demonstration of the Fidelity website. Ophthalmology Grand Rounds

The Bascom Palmer Eye Institute/Department of Ophthalmology will host grand rounds on Thursday, July 21 from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at University of Miami Hospital, Seminar Center A and B. Ophthalmology residents and fellows will present interesting or unusual cases. The University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit.
