Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and the Department of Ophthalmology will host grand rounds on Thursday, January 19 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute Jose Berrocal Auditorium. Ophthalmology residents and fellows will present interesting or unusual cases. The University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit. The Sue and Leonard Miller Center for Contemporary Judaic Studies will host a lecture by Adam Chalom, rabbi at Kol Hadash Humanistic Congregation and dean for North America at the International Institute for Secular Humanistic Judaism, on Thursday, January 19 at 8 p.m. at the Miller Center Auditorium, 105 Merrick Building.
