Surgical Grand Rounds: I’d Give My Right Arm to be Ambidextrous

David R. King, instructor in surgery at Harvard Medical School, will present “I’d Give My Right Arm to be Ambidextrous” on Thursday, January 26 from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Rosenstiel Medical Science Building, fifth-floor auditorium. Upon completion of this lecture, participants will be able to understand the principles of management of multiple severely injured casualties and discuss the latest research in far-forward non-surgical hemorrhage control. The University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit. This lunchtime seminar, offered by the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP), will help you achieve harmony and balance throughout the New Year. FSAP Health and Wellness Seminars are offered as part of the University of Miami’s Well ’Canes Program.

Coral Gables campus: Tuesday, January 24 from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Whitten University Center, Room 245.

Miller School of Medicine campus: Wednesday, January 25 from 12 to 1 p.m. at University of Miami Hospital, Seminar Center C.

Rosenstiel School Campus: Thursday, January 26 from 12 to 1 p.m. in the Library, Map, and Chart Room.
