In celebration of its 60th anniversary, the Lowe Art Museum will present the exhibition “From the Vault: Building a Legacy, Sixty Years of Collecting at the Lowe Art Museum, University of Miami.”

On view January 28 through March 25, the exhibition is a highlight of the Lowe’s distinguished collecting history and draws from some 18,000 works of art, showcasing important objects not currently on view or that may never have been seen by faculty, staff, students, or the general public.

The “Developing a Performance-Based Culture” series explores how leaders can nurture a team of high performers focused on organizational outcomes. “Module I: The Value of a Performance-Based Culture” focuses on the importance of developing a performance-based culture and identifies the initial steps a leader must take to make this happen. “Module II: Managing Performance” examines effective performance management practices, including preparing and delivering the performance appraisal. “Module III: Performance Documentation” examines the importance of properly documenting employee performance as well as the impact of sound documentation for the employee and the University. “Module IV: Applying Performance Management” helps leaders assess their performance in applying the skills acquired through the series and identify areas of focus in performance management.
