Hiring and Onboarding Talent

Hiring and Onboarding Talent is a highly interactive course with two instructor‐led training (ILT) sessions and a computer‐based learning (CBL) module. Participants will focus on identifying talent needs in their department, developing techniques to determine ability based on past performance, creating an interview plan, peer interviewing, and developing an onboarding plan for new talent. This is a core requirement for any hiring manager. Sessions occur at PDTO Medical, Dominion Parking Garage, suite 155. The first live session will be held on Tuesday, March 16 from 1 to 4 p.m.

Students must complete the corresponding online CBL prior to enrolling in the second live session. The second live session will be held on Tuesday, March 23 from 1 to 5 p.m. To register for the sessions, visit ulearn.miami.edu and follow the instructions to log on.
