Psychiatry Grand Rounds: Neuroscience and Treatment in Pediatric Bipolar Disorder

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences will host grand rounds on Wednesday, September 1 from 12 to 1:30 p.m. in the Mailman Center for Child Development, eighth-floor auditorium. Guest speaker Mani Pavuluri, associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Illinois School of Medicine, Chicago, Illinois, will present “Neuroscience and Treatment in Pediatric Bipolar Disorder.” Upon completion of this lecture, participants will be able to review new developments in the neuroscience and treatment of children and adolescents with bipolar disorder.

The University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1.50 AMA PRA Category 1 credits. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 1.50 CE credit will be awarded to psychologists and 1.5 CE to social workers, marriage and family therapists, and mental health counselors who attend.
