Tomoko Shibata, postdoctoral associate in the Department of Biology at the University of Miami, will present “Development and Regeneration of Feather Stars (Stalkless Crinoids)” on Monday, October 4 at 12:20 p.m. in the Cox Science Center, Room 166. Shibata’s current research focuses on embryonic development and regeneration in the sea anemone Nematostella vectensis and the comb jelly Mnemiopsis leidyi.
