The Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) offers this lunchtime seminar for those interested in exploring how thoughts can influence health and well-being. While many of us invest a great deal of time and energy into physically caring for our bodies, few of us consider the importance of taking the same care to assure our mindset also supports optimal health. Can we correlate health promotional behaviors and optimal bodily function with positive patterns of thought? Those who see the glass as “half-full” may be on to something. A University of Miami FSAP employee assistance professional will facilitate the seminar. FSAP health and wellness seminars are offered as part of UM’s Well ’Canes Program.
