Join the members of UM’s official Latin and ballroom dance club, Miami Ballroom, on Thursday, February 3 at 6 p.m. at the University Center’s Flamingo Ballrooms for their annual spring open house. The event will open with a brief information session about the club, followed by demonstrations of two new dances: the cha-cha and the fox-trot. Lessons are held every Thursday night from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Whitten University Center Flamingo Ballrooms and are taught by members of Miami Ballroom’s professionally trained Performance Team, which is experienced in ballroom dancing.
