For those interested in exploring how thoughts influence health, the Employee Assistance Program is pleased to offer the seminar “Thinking Yourself to Better Health.” While many people invest a great deal of time and energy in physically caring for their bodies, few people consider the importance of taking the same care to ensure their mindset also supports optimal health. Can we correlate health promotional behaviors and optimal bodily function with positive patterns of thought? Those who see the glass as half-full may be on to something.
Participants will:
• Review the influence of thought patterns on physiology
• Identify ways to convert negative thinking patterns and beliefs to ones that promote health
Dates:
Attend the seminar on the Coral Gables campus on Tuesday, June 9 from 12 to 1 p.m. in the Max Orovitz Building, Room 139.
Attend on the Miller School campus on Wednesday, June 10 from 12 to 1 p.m. in the Dominion Parking Garage, Room 155.
