If you are an InfoEd user, participate in an Elluminate (Web conference) demonstration, to be held on Thursday, June 18 from 12 to 1 p.m. All InfoEd modules are currently accessed via the InfoEd eRA portal. An improved portal that will offer a more streamlined interface and easier nagivation is coming soon to all InfoEd users. In addition to providing a new look and feel to the initial login and browse screens, the new portal will enable the user to locate proposals or protocols more quickly and to customize personal preferences.

Get a sneak peek at the new InfoEd portal by joining this Web conference. To register, log into ULearn from the learner mode and go to the catalog at the bottom of the page, then look in the “Research Administration and Sponsored Programs” category. After registering, the activity’s user notes provides a link for the Elluminate session, a link to your outlook calendar, and a link for Elluminate support. You will get a reminder e-mail the day before the session that will include the same three links. A username and password are not required. Make certain your computer has speakers or headphones to hear the Web conference; a microphone is recommended but not required. Registration is limited, so sign up soon. For more information, call 305-243-5092 or e-mail [email protected]. If you would like to sign up for the new portal, send an e-mail to [email protected].
