This seminar, offered by the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP), provides participants with knowledge and practical strategies for developing their capacity to successfully weather a changing and challenging world. While change can be exciting, too much change, or change that is perceived to be unmanageable, can be overwhelming. Change can also be accompanied by a grief process, which, if not understood and managed correctly, frequently hinders our acceptance of new realities. Learn to view change as an opportunity for developing greater strength and emotional fortitude. Participants will:

• Review the transition curve
• Identify common reactions to change
• Develop a greater awareness of their personal style for managing change
• Identify strategies for improving the way they greet change
