Carol Lally Shields, professor of ophthalmology at Thomas Jefferson University, co-director of Ocular Oncology Service at Wills Eye Hospital, and a consultant at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, will present “Frontiers in the Management of Conjunctival Tumors in Children and Adults” on Thursday, July 15 at 5:30 p.m. at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Retter Auditorium.

Univision’s No. 1 awards show, Premios Juventud, is coming back to the University of Miami’s BankUnited Center on Thursday, July 15. The show honors recording artists, movie stars, sports figures, and fashion and pop icons popular with the nation’s Hispanic youth. It will be broadcast live from BankUnited Center and air on Univision Television Network. The scheduled lineup of performers includes Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, Juanes, Camila, Wisin Y Yandel, Pitbull, Chino Y Nacho, Prince Royce, Dulce Maria, Ivy Queen, and more.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and close at 7:30 p.m. for the live broadcast, which begins at 8 p.m. Ticket prices are $55 to $75; tickets are available at ticketmaster.com, the BankUnited Center box office, or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
