The University of Miami School of Architecture’s lecture series continues with renowned architect Abdel-Wahed El-Wakil, who will lecture on “Islamic Architecture” on Wednesday, September 15 at 6 p.m. in the Jorge M. Perez Architecture Center, Glasgow Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
A visiting critic at the School of Architecture, El-Wakil is the recipient of two Aga Kahn Awards for Architecture and the 2009 Driehaus Prize and is considered the foremost practitioner of masonry construction in Islamic architecture today. Professor El-Wakil has an extensive and vigorous career of research and practice in construction throughout the Middle East.

Learn how to use the InfoEd Proposal Development System to prepare and submit your proposal electronically to the National Institutes of Health. InfoEd streamlines the proposal development process, is Web-based, and accessible almost anywhere by Mac and PC users. No additional software is required. InfoEd populates agency forms, includes built-in agency validations, stores proposals in a secure environment, and provides a database of all proposals submitted. This session, held Wednesday, September 15 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Dominion Towers, tenth-floor Computer Lab, will help participants create, route, submit, and track proposals using the InfoEd System.
