The Employee Assistance Program is offering a relaxation training seminar for those interested in improving their capacity to effectively use relaxation techniques. This seminar will help participants identify the fight-or-flight response (with triggers), discuss ways to promote the parasympathetic (relaxation) response, and engage in practical techniques to promote relaxation.
Coral Gables campus: Tuesday, August 18 from 12 to 1 p.m. in the Max Orovitz Building, Room 139.
Miller School campus: Thursday, August 20 from 12 to 1 p.m. in the Dominion Parking Garage, Room 155.

Disbursements is now offering monthly eCheck training sessions through the online Elluminate Live! platform. eCheck is a University eFORM available in UMeNET and has replaced the paper check requisition process. The next online eCheck training is scheduled for Thursday, August 20 from 2 to 4 p.m.

The Office of Research Information Management is offering a Velos Patient Management Workshop for study team members, coordinators, research nurses, and all study personnel involved in managing patients. Come and learn how this system will help you manage your patients. This hands-on module includes discussions on patient enrollment, patient status management, and patient calendars.
