Chef Lori has announced her fall semester cooking series at the Herbert Wellness Center. The first class, titled Fresh Fish Fiesta, features salmon, mahi-mahi, and halibut on Tuesday, September 8 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The cost is $25 for students, $30 for members, and $35 for non-members. Register for three classes in the six-class series and receive a 10 percent discount. Price includes recipes, cooking demonstrations, and food tasting. The University of Miami Police Department is bringing the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles’ mini-FLOW (Florida Licensing on Wheels) to the Coral Gables campus from Wednesday through Friday, August 26-28.

UM Police is bringing Mini-FLOW to campus for your convenience during the first week of class. Through mini-FLOW, you can renew, replace, exchange, or get a new Florida State Driver’s license, as well as renew your vehicle registration. (Please note that written exams and driving tests will not be offered). No appointment is necessary; simply stop by at your convenience from 9:30 a.m.  to 3:30 p.m. The mini-FLOW will be set up in the first-floor lounge of the University Center.
