Attend a Webinar on Tuesday, August 25 at 1 p.m. A new upgrade to the InfoEd Proposal Development system is coming soon. It will offer a more streamlined interface and easier navigation. The new and improved portal provides a more efficient method of developing and submitting  your NIH electronic proposals using InfoEd PD.

The goal of this Web conference is to show the new features of InfoEd PD. The presenters will demonstrate the changes and enhanced features of the upgraded resource. Presenters will deliver a 25-minute demonstration followed by a session for discussion and questions.

Nursing Lunch and Learn series

Join Rafael Campo, professor of clinical medicine for the Division of Infectious Diseases and medical director of Employee Health and Infection Control, and the Professional Development and Training Office for a lecture on seasonal and pandemic influenza.

The event is a brown-bag lunch and learn session on Tuesday, August 25 from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Dominion Parking Garage, Miller School Professional Development and Training Office, suite 155. The lecture is designed to provide health care professionals a better understanding of seasonal and pandemic influenza, including the epidemiology and pathenogenesis of seasonal influenza, strategies and limitations for prevention, and novel forms of influenza such as H1N1.

To attend the session, register via ULearn at ulearn.miami.edu. Nurses must submit their license information to receive 1.0 contact hour toward renewal. Nurses arriving more than five minutes late are not eligible to receive contact-hour credit.
