The Faculty Senate has selected winners for two of its most prestigious awards. Manuel Huerta, professor of physics in the College of Arts and Sciences, has been named recipient of the 2010 Outstanding Teacher Award, while Bernard Oxman, professor in the School of Law, has been named winner of the 2010 Distinguished Faculty Scholar Award.
Members of the University community are invited to join UM President Donna E. Shalala and the Faculty Senate at the award ceremony and reception to honor Huerta and Oxman, as well as Professor Steven Green, recipient of the Faculty Senate’s James W. McLamore Outstanding Service Award. The ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 8 at 5 p.m. in Storer Auditorium at the School of Business Administration.
