University Web site will test alert messaging August 4

The University will be conducting a routine test of its emergency Web communications resources that will briefly affect the way information is displayed on the University’s homepage on Wednesday, August 4 between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. All related Web services and Web pages will be available during the test and no downtime or discontinuance of regular service is anticipated.

Intermittently during this time, Web visitors may notice temporary changes in the display of some UM Web pages while the test alert messaging is displayed, especially on the UM homepage.  The messaging will clearly indicate that the alert is only a test. Should you have any questions, comments, or concerns, e-mail [email protected] or call 305-284-1604.
