Former University of Miami quarterback and 1992 Heisman Trophy winner Gino Torretta will team up with four of his Hurricane QB buddies—Bernie Kosar, Steve Walsh, Craig Erickson, and Ken Dorsey—as well as other UM football personalities for the Torretta Foundation Annual Golf Tournament, Silent Auction, and Concert at the Biltmore Hotel, 1200 Anastasia Avenue, Coral Gables, May 22-23. Proceeds from the event will sponsor the Torretta Fellowship in ALS Research in the Department of Neurology at the Miller School of Medicine. The Equality Administration Office will host two sexual harassment seminars. On Monday, May 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., the seminar will be presented in Storer Auditorium on the Coral Gables campus; on Tuesday, May 24 from 8:30 to 11 a.m., the seminar will take place in Retter Auditorium on the Miller School of Medicine campus. The seminars are designed for senior administrators, faculty, deans, vice presidents, human resource representatives, and sexual harassment counselors.

Guest speaker Susan Toepfer, attorney with Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson, P.A., will present on recent sexual harassment court decisions, trends, and academic issues, and will discuss behaviors or situations that may constitute sexual harassment.
