Kerry Burnstein, professor of molecular and cellular pharmacology, will present Discovery Science Grand Rounds on Thursday, May 12 from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Lois Pope LIFE Center, seventh-floor auditorium. Burnstein’s lecture, titled “Targeting Steroid Hormone-Regulated Pathways in Prostate Cancer,” will focus on the mechanisms that control cellular responses to androgen and vitamin D and how these pathways impact prostate cancer prevention, diagnosis, and therapy.
