Grammy Award-winning violinist and composer Mark O’Connor, serving as an artist-in-residence this academic year for the Frost School of Music, will conduct an improvisation workshop on Tuesday, November 3 from 12 to 1:15 p.m. at Clarke Recital Hall. The workshop is free and open to the public.

University of Miami faculty and staff can attend a free Friends and Family CPR class at the Herbert Wellness Center. The class, which will be held on Tuesday, November 3 from 2 to 4 p.m., includes instruction on how to perform CPR on adults and children as well as training on how to help an adult or child who is choking.
