Open enrollment in the competency-based programs for Administrative Support, Emerging Leaders, and Practicing Leaders began September 1. Each program requires completion of a core set of learning modules, demonstration of mastery, and coaching and mentoring on the part of supervisors and peers. The new Competency-Based Program semester begins January 2011. Registrations are being accepted from September through November. Managers and supervisors who are interested in signing up or recommending staff should visit ulearn.miami.edu to register for the Competency-Based Overview Sessions, which are being offered on both the Coral Gables and Miller School of Medicine campuses.
