Join the Department of Neurology for the 2011 Epilepsy Walk the Talk event benefitting the Epilepsy Foundation of Florida. Help increase awareness of epilepsy and seizure disorders and raise funds to support services for the 360,000 Floridians living with epilepsy. The walk will be held on Sunday, April 10 at Crandon Park, 6747 Crandon Boulevard in Key Biscayne. Registration opens at 8 a.m., and the walk begins at 9 a.m. To join the UM Neurology Team as a walker or make a donation, please click here to access the team page. Prizes include a free T-shirt for walkers raising at least $50; a pair of EFOF flip-flops for those raising $150 or more; a free baseball hat for those raising $500 or more; and a $100 Best Buy gift certificate for those raising $1,500 or more. Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraiser and to the largest team.
