UM Libraries Launches Beta Website and Catalog

The University of Miami Libraries is pleased to announce the launch of the beta redesign of the library web site and catalog. The new sites are the result of usability testing, focus groups, faculty interviews, and user surveys. The beta library site features more prominent search options providing quick, convenient access to core library information. Other features include quick links to frequently used services and resources; audience-level pages to easily access library information important to students, faculty, and visitors; and a fresh new look. The new catalog includes the ability to send a text from within a record as well as view Google Book Previews of titles where available.

Both the beta library site and beta catalog will run in parallel with the current sites to give everyone a chance to familiarize themselves with the new organization and provide feedback for improvements. Users can switch back and forth via links to and from the beta sites in the upper banner. Please be sure to click on feedback link in the upper banner to provide your input.
