American Playwright Bill C. Davis to Speak at Richter Library

The University of Miami Libraries and the Department of Theatre Arts will present an evening with American playwright Bill C. Davis on Thursday, March 3 at 7 p.m. in the Otto G. Richter Library, Coral Gables campus. Davis will speak about the inception and development of his plays for Broadway. Seating for the event is limited. RSVP to 305-284-3551 or [email protected].

Davis is the author of Mass Appeal, which premiered at The Manhattan Theatre Club in New York City and later moved to Broadway, where it received the Outer Critics Circle Award. He later adapted the play as a screenplay, and it was made into a movie starring Jack Lemmon and Charles Durning. For more information on Davis, visit: www.billcdavis.com.
