Dean Prilleltensky to Speak March 30 as Part of Collegetown Series

In a lecture reflecting his school’s unique mission, Isaac Prilleltensky, dean of the UM School of Education, will speak on Wednesday, March 30, at the Lowe Art Museum on the Coral Gables campus at 6:30 p.m., with a reception beginning at 6 p.m.

Dean Prilleltensky will discuss “Promoting Your Personal, Family, and Community Well-Being: From Science to Action.” He will talk about his school’s innovative vision to develop educational, psychological, and physical well-being among individuals and families in multicultural communities.

The event is part of the Collegetown Faculty Lecture Series, a new forum in which UM faculty experts in various disciplines engage the community in intellectual discourse and enrich their knowledge on timely topics. The series, presented by the University of Miami and the City of Coral Gables, is free and open to the public, including members of the UM community, and is part of the recently passed Development Agreement.
