The School of Education’s Department of Teaching and Learning and the Diversity Committee will host the lecture “Addressing Diversity in Higher Education: Moving Beyond False Starts” by Stanley C. Christine Schwartz Center for Nursing Education, Room 106. The event is open to the public.

Trent’s current research includes multicultural teacher training in special education, the disproportionate placement of culturally and linguistically diverse students in special education programs and programs for the gifted, and inclusive education practices in urban schools.
