The University of Miami Women’s Commission will host its 40th Annual Awards Breakfast on Thursday, March 31 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. in the Hurricane 100 Room of the BankUnited Center. Guest speaker Mary Young, the newly appointed director of UM’s Ziff Career Services Center and the immediate past IBM Americas Group Location Leader for Miami, will present “Mother’s Best Advice.” Young is a graduate of Leadership Miami and Leadership Florida, was chosen as a Miami-Dade Up and Comer, and is a past president of the YWCA of Greater Miami.
