Opportunities in NASA/FSGC for Researchers and Students

The College of Engineering’s Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering will host the seminar “Opportunities in NASA/FSGC for Researchers and Students” on Friday, September 11 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the McArthur Engineering Annex, Room MEA 202. Mukherjee Jaydeep, director of the NASA Florida Space Grant Consortium and interim director of the Florida Space Institute, will discuss his organization’s various programs, including seed research funding for faculty; fellowships, scholarships, and internships for students; and student collaborative projects.

The Mission of the Florida Space Grant Consortium is to strengthen Florida’s economy and augment NASA Educational Outcomes by providing space-related fellowships, scholarships, and internships; supporting research opportunities and academic NASA-industry partnerships; supporting student collaborative projects, including senior design projects; and enhancing STEM awareness, literacy, education, and excellence in Florida’s citizens, public and private educational systems, and workforce.
